Butalbital/APAP/Caffeine can be a barbiturate sedative blended with a non-aspirin pain medication (acetaminophen) and caffeine. This non-narcotic pain medication and relaxant is often prescribed for tension headaches a result of contractions with the muscles within the neck and shoulder area, and migraine.

How Taken:

Butalbital/APAP/Caffeine may come as a capsule and tablet to look at by mouth. The usual dosage is a to two tablets every 4-6 hours, but needs to be taken as directed through your physician. Total daily dosage shouldn’t exceed 6 tablets. Extended and repeated usage of this product isn’t recommended because with the potential for physical dependence.


Butalbital/APAP/Caffeine may lead you to become drowsy or less alert; therefore, driving or operating dangerous machinery or participating in any hazardous activity that needs full mental alertness isn’t recommended until you know your reaction to this drug. Missed Dose:

Butalbital/APAP/Caffeine overdose is indicated by severe drowsiness, confusion, extreme weakness, hallucination, breathlessness, too slow or troubled breathing, slurred speech, not enough coordination, vomiting with blood, unusually slow heartbeat.
